I am looking for information on the descendants of John Whitewood, born Circa 1854 possibly in Guysborough County, Nova Scotia, died after 1891 in Ecum Secum, Guysborough County, Nova Scotia. His wife was Jane Dorey born circa 1860 in Head of Saint Margaret's Bay, died in a fire in Liscomb Mills, Guysborough County, Nova Scotia in 1891. We would like to know more about Jane Dorey, for instance: who her parents were. John and Jane had eight children. The youngest died in the fire with her mother. The fifth child was my grandmother, who was raised by Colin Chisholm of Sherbrooke. Information collected by Ellen Warren of Bridgetown, Nova Scotia.
I don't have much information on this family as it was split up after the fire. The children all born in Liscomb Mills were:
