- Fort Edward was a golf course from 1903-1973.
- The upstairs of the blockhouse contains original graffiti made by the soldiers long ago.
- The fort was the host of the oldest agricultural fair in Canada.
- Fort Edward was never attacked.
- Flora MacDonald spent the winter of 1778-79 at Fort Edward with her husband.
