At Getaway
Farm we raise
Galloway cattle. Galloways were
developed in Scotland over 500 years ago to produce superior tasting beef on
the feed source of the day—grass pasture.
Our animals live a traditional Galloway life, contentedly eating natural
grasses and hay, from beginning to end.
Saturday mornings we sell our beef
at the Wolfville Farmers’ Market.
Natural and delicious, our beef offers a healthy alternative to
today’s commodity beef—no antibiotics, no growth hormones, and no
grain. We think its beef you can feel
good about.
